Can community patrons access library databases?

Community patrons are welcome to visit Kimbel Library in person to search online databases--please ask at the help desk for assistance. (Only current CCU students, faculty and staff members can access Kimbel Library's databases from outside of the library building, however).
You may also be able to get remote (off-campus) database access from other libraries. The South Carolina State Library offers access to their databases to all South Carolina residents who apply for a library card online.
Locally, the Horry County Library System and the Chapin Memorial Library also offer database access to their library card holders.
