Does the library have textbooks for my classes?

The library does not have every textbook, but some textbooks are available in the library's course reserve collection.
Your professor can request that a copy of the textbook for your class be placed on reserve in the library.
Course reserve items are held at the main desk in the Bryan Information Commons. Course reserve items are library use only (meaning they can't leave the library building) and require a CINO ID to check out.
To find out if your professor put a copy of your textbook on course reserve, search the online catalog. Remember to select the Course Reserves option before beginning your search. You can also stop by the help desk in person to ask if your textbook is available, ask via library chat, or call the help desk at (843)349-2400.
